The girls, Jordan and Kiley spent the weekend at their dad's house and we got them back today, so we were happy about that. It's always nice to get them back after they've been gone for a couple of days, because we really start to miss them. Yesterday Kayla and I went to Stake Conference and were able to see Elder Bednar of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles speak. It was a really spiritually edifying experience for the both of us. Jordan turned 8 in January and was just baptized on February 26. That was so great for her and for our family; we were very happy and so proud of her for making that important decision. Kiley's 4th Birthday is March 12, so we are in the process of planning and preparing for her party that will be this Saturday, the 10th. It's going to be a Mad Hatter Tea Party, so it should be a lot of fun! At the moment Kayla is making practice cakes for the party, while I will be finishing painting cardboard cutouts of "Alice in Wonderland" characters for wall decorations, that I started last night. Kayla has collected all kinds of cool stuff to put together for the party, such as different sized tea cups and plates that she hot-glued together to make Mad Hatter style treat platters. She put together some really cool invitations too. Pictures of this stuff will be included so everyone can see how awesome and creative my wife is :)
Wow so proud of jordan, I did not know of this decision to be baptized and I hope you tell her how happy I am for her and Jolie and Jared say hi and they like her baptism dress. Jolie is always talking about when she turns 8.
